The opportunities listed in this directory are Fresno State scholarships that are offered by various departments, schools, colleges, and programs. In order to be considered for a Fresno State scholarship, students must be a continuing student or a new student who has applied for admission for the 2025/2026 academic year. Before you attempt to apply for Fresno State scholarships, please make sure you have received a Fresno State Student I.D. number and have activated your MyFresnoState account with a valid email address. All scholarship applicants must use their Fresno State username and password to access the scholarship application. To apply to any of the scholarships listed below, click the “Sign In” button on this page to begin.

The scholarship application period for Fresno State begins October 1, 2024 and closes on March 2, 2025 at 11:59pm (PT). This application period is for current year scholarship opportunities that may become available during the 2024/2025 academic year, but majority of scholarship opportunities listed are for the upcoming 2025/2026 academic year. More than half of the scholarship opportunities listed in the directory only require the Fresno State general scholarship application to be submitted. However, some apply-to scholarships require applicants to submit additional information about themselves in order to qualify for an opportunity.

The scholarship opportunities listed on this site are organized alphabetically and by the scholarship deadline. You can also “Search by Keyword” (e.g. veteran, community service, major, first generation college student, etc.) or by clicking the “Show Filters” button to search by “Scopes” (scholarships grouped by department name, school, college, or organization) you wish to view.

Award Notification Process
The awarding of individual scholarships begins after the posted deadline has passed. Applicants will need to monitor their Fresno State email to see if they have been awarded a scholarship. Scholarship recipients receive a congratulatory email notification instructing them to log in their scholarship application to view the details of the award. Please Note: The award process does not include a notification to all students who applied for scholarships, but only to the selected recipients of a scholarship.
