Nicholas Vicente Aleman Scholarship for the Arts

Nicolas Vicente Aleman died in June 2024 at the age of 33 from complications related to Valley Fever. Before his untimely death, he had been studying art at California State University, Bakersfield and planned to transfer to Fresno State in the fall so he could enroll in the graphics art program. Nicholas was a natural artist, showing exceptional talent at a very young age with no formal training. He excelled at drawing, painting, and computer graphics.

His family would like to celebrate his legacy by supporting an art student who shares his creative passion and appreciation for not only the humor but also the beauty he found in this world he left behind.
