Delray Tires and Retreading, Inc. - General Scholarship

A scholarship fund has been established by Delray Tires and Retreading Inc. Two general scholarships shall be awarded to deserving students based on educational promise and financial need. Recipients will be selected based on the below criteria:

1. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.80 or higher.
2. Applicants must be from the Central Valley (Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, or Tulare County).
3. Applicants must answer the question Are you applying for scholarships based on your need for additional resources to pay for your educational cost? on the scholarship application.
4. Applicants must upload two letters of recommendation. One of these letters must come from a Fresno State professor.

This scholarship opportunity has a financial need requirement. To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the California Dream Application, and have a calculated financial need analysis done by Fresno State prior to the scholarship application deadline. When the Financial Aid Office receives and processes the FAFSA, a financial need calculation will automatically be uploaded to your scholarship application. The financial need of an applicant is based on the current academic year data when the student applied for the scholarship.
