Dr. Mel Helm Award for Excellence

Scholarships shall be awarded to deserving students based on educational promise. Applicants must have a declared major in the College of Science and Mathematics, be enrolled full-time at Fresno State, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. Preference will be given to a student with an interest in health care related fields within the College of Science and Mathematics such as, but not limited to, pre-medicine, pre-dental, etc., or Physics. Preference will also be given to a student that has graduated from a high school within Caruthers Unified School District, located in Caruthers, California.
