Rosemarie Bezerra-Nader Scholarship 4 Future Middle School Math Teachers
Scholarships shall be awarded to deserving students based on educational promise. Applicants must have a declared major within the Kremen School of Education and Human Development. Applicants must be a junior or senior standing majoring in Liberal Studies or postbaccalaureate student seeking a multiple-subject credential. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or naturalized citizen, maintian full-time enrollment, and a minimum cummulative GPA of 2.75. Applicants must be pursuing a math authorization with a career goal of teaching mathematics in a middle school or the equivalent of 7th, 8th or 9th grade. Applicants must provide a written statement detailing persistence shown to overcome hardship in pursuit of their educational goal. Preference shall be given to students that graduated from a high school in the Central Valley.
